I bought these about 4 years ago. I came across this item again and had to leave feedback. THESE ARE AWESOME! Big plants with Huge flowers! The plants are now over five foot tall and have continued to spread (I help): After they complete blooming every year, I make sure the seeds drop & and continue making this into a hedge along the house. I do recommend these.

Planted two of these plants about two years ago. They have reached maturity and one is about 3' high but spreads the 3' wide. The other is more than 5' high and about 2.5' wide. Gorgeous flowers which can be made into a cool drink!

These are wonderful! Although I planted all three at the same time, they vary in height. The smallest is 3' and the largest is 6'+. Every year they have blossoms galore and I always get compliments on them!

I purchased 3 hearty, 3 mixed, which came as a root. Planted right away, and all but one, that hasn't done anything yet are as tall as the 5 red ones I purchased potted already.

Maybe Patience is key Review by Jamie W - Alpharetta, GA

Planted a couple of these hardy hibiscuses and the sub-zero ones in ground and some in a large pot last spring. Because they came in very small root form, it wasn't very impressive the first year just 3 flowers per plant, but it looks more promising this year - more shoots are coming up and hopefully more flowers. Will update at the end of the summer.

The Hardy Hibiscus Mix will take four to six weeks to make itself comfortable in your garden, but the results are well worth the wait. From a base of soft, maple-like leaves bloom the hibiscus moscheutos' showy flowers, super-sized petals in white, pink, and red. These giant blossoms have a certain tropical flair about them, but they can thrive in gardens from zones 5 through 10.

Not sure how to grow hibiscus? It's easy. The perennial Hardy Hibiscus Mix thrives in full sun to partial shade. The Hardy Hibiscus Mix needs time to establish healthy roots in a new garden. For this reason, it's important to plant this flower in humus-enriched soil. It doesn't require as much additional nutrition after its initial growth period, though.

The Hardy Hibiscus Mix's flowers grow up to nine inches each, sporting feminine colors and long stamen. Of course, a flower this large needs plenty of support. That is probably why the hibiscus moscheutos grows anywhere between three and six feet tall and three and four feet wide. These showy plants, perhaps not surprisingly, have just what it takes to attract butterflies to your garden.

Gigantic blooms on your hibiscus will appear in midsummer and stick around until fall. To keep the plant's blooms fresh during this time, be sure to deadhead flowers as they begin to mature. With proper care, the Hardy Hibiscus will make a comeback as soon as it's warm again, bringing cheer for many years to come.
