The Burning Bush Shrub Review by Debra K Dove - Cabins, WV
Posted on 2013-08-23 20:41:43

Several years ago I purchased for my home a small burning bush. It was so tiny, it had a square wooden cage built around it. I planted it thinking it was so small it would never grow. Today, It is the most beautiful shrub you have ever seen. I love the changing colors and would love to have one more, for the other end of my patio to match the other end. One of the greatest things about this shrub is the privacy we enjoy from it. I give the burning bush shrub a 5. It is very versatile, changes colors, gives privacy, and gives me great enjoyment watching it grow up from a tiny twig to a beautiful shrub.

I love the light green summer foliage and vibrant fire red leaves in fall. planted 5 yr ago have survived transplanting & pruning. Density of growth makes great barrier for privacy. good choice for novice gardeners. Needs lots of sun for best growth and color.
