Getting Bigger Review by Star Wooton - Flippin, AR
Posted on 2015-05-02 00:34:28

Writing this before they have bloomed. They made it through the winter. We've had a cool Spring, but they are growing! The leaves come in in a brilliant red! They are gorgeous. They are thin, but look healthy. I expect them to be just beautiful.

Just Beginning Review by Starlene - Flippin, AR

I've only just planted my geraniums. I'm writing a review now because this is when a lot of people are buying their starts. Mine came in a smashed and crushed box. I was really worried about my plants. The dirt was falling out of the box, it was a mess! I inspected them as they said. I took pictures of it all. They said to plant everything anyway and give it a chance. So I did. That was Friday, this is Monday. I planted some in full sun and some in part shade. Today as I was watering them I noticed about half of them are growing green leaves!!! I'm very excited to watch them. Hoping they all do well.

Well performing/blooming geranium but NOT blue... Review by Niesia - Anacortes, , WA
Posted on 2014-06-30 17:30:50

I ordered several plants in the spring for a test to see how they will perform in a chosen spot before I plant them 'en masse'. I'm in zone 8-7 (depending on a year) and the spot is part shade at the edge of the forest. Plants get morning sun and afternoon shade. I planted them couple of days after arrival (they were soaking during that time). The plants started to grow pretty quick and I got first blooms at the end of May. Now at the end of June they seem pretty full with more flowers coming every day (I did dense planting spacing them only 8" apart). I'm very satisfied with their performance. The only complaint - they are not blue as pictured - that's why I'm giving only 4 stars . They are deep violet blue in my garden. I hoped for real blue, to coordinate with my hydrangeas. However, since the violet blue looks OK and the performance is good, I'm planning to order more this coming spring to get my massive color display next summer.

Excellent Blue Fusions Review by Rafia Shujaat - Naperville, IL

In 5 weeks of planting the roots I have 3 feet tall plants with flowers on all of them. I read that trimming makes them denser so after enjoying the blooms I will trim to get more. I love them and so will be buying the Pinks now.

Fast growth Review by Rafia Shujaat - Naperville, IL

The tiny plants came and I was thinking this will take long to grow into young plants. But as soon as I put them in pots, they grew like crazy. In one month time, I have planted them in my flower bed, they are mature. They are not flowering yet, but I know they will soon be. I can't wait!

Satisfactory performance the first season Review by Heather S - Columbia, PA

All plants took and grew nicely. All produced blooms. I am satisfied with their performance as this was the first season for them, but am hoping for more blooms next year.

Hardy! Review by Elaine - Greencastle, PA
Posted on 2012-05-10 23:11:20

Hardy barely begins to describe the weather tolerance of this plant. I got mine in March when we were having an odd warm spell. I planted them and not even the next day there was frost and hail! I was unaware of the bad weather coming so I never covered them and even though the temperature dropped well below 30 a number of nights in a row they grew like crazy! More then doubling their size in less then a week.

Blue Fusion Everblooming Hardy Geraniums have tinged pink centers surrounded by a vivid clear blue. Hardy geranium plants are low-maintenance perennials ideal, as a colorful ground cover spread along your walkways, or as a highlight under taller trees. Their use is also nice as a blue accent along borders or in rock gardens. These blue geraniums pump out lively, sky-blue blossoms for weeks on end, sprawling and weaving their way through other plants. The popularity of hardy geraniums is due to their long season of interest, which makes them a favorite of perennial gardeners. While they certainly have pretty blue flowers, they are almost as attractive when not blooming! Their hardy foliage allows you to keep your maintenance to a minimum, adding a touch of color during the blooming season, and ground cover throughout the seasons. Hardy blue geraniums grow well in regular garden soil, and they are tolerant to mild drought conditions. Their cup-shaped blue flowers bloom from May-September. These are a favorite for many reasons: they are tough and easy to grow, they flower for months at a stretch, they cover weeds, and they have pretty foliage as well as their blue flowers.
