Planted them in the spring and they grew well; but no they are not blue. (I wonder if they'll turn blue by adding aluminum to soil like with Hydrangeas?) This is their first MN winter so I'm hoping they come up in the spring!

I gave a 4 because as others stated, these are not blue. Mine are a purple tone. I am happy with it though!! It has grown so much since planting. It is about knee high in it's first year in the ground!

I ordered these last year. They were very small the first year and I didn't think they were going to live but this year they came up and are blooming and about knee height. The blooms are not blue like the picture but a pink-light purple color.

Planted these out in Feb. this year. They are starting to look respectable now. They like to be moist but not wet. This is a bit tricky in the Zone 9. Looks like it will bloom soon.
