I bought our little lady about 4 years ago and she was a wee healthy plant when it arrived. Now it's around 4 foot tall and 3 feet wide, and what we find out the first time it bloomed... it wasn't like the pictures. Ours turned out to be a double with full ruffly blooms. Love it love it love it!

So small and in its first year, but little blooms have already formed along the stalk. Very few things bloomed this August, especially with our horrible drought, but this little guy is making it!

Get ready for one of the most magnificent mid-to-late summer hues with the 3-in-1 Rose of Sharon. Accentuated by wonderful pink, white and blue flowers, the 3-in-1 Rose of Sharon shrub grows from 6-12 feet, with a 6-8 foot spread. The full ruffly blooms and glossy, dark-green flowers are a perennial delight with shrubs growing bigger and better through the years. This flowering shrub is sturdy, is able to withstand high outdoor temperatures as well as conditions cool enough to yield light frost. Like any Rose of Sharon, our 3-in-1 variety prefers well-drained soil, and is a quick grower once established. Pruning isn't needed and the plant does great even in colder climates and places with high air pollution. It flowers from mid-summer to late fall.
