Purple and white Liatris have a fantastic form and texture. At first they look like a fine grass. Then they expand and rise upwards, becoming sharper and fuller. At the height of summer, the bottle-brush blooms open from the top of 1' spikes downward with hundreds of dense flowerheads. Outstanding as a cut-flower feature with an extra-long vase life.
