We carry your favorite flowering and privet shrubs, including evergreen hedges, weigelias, rose of Sharon shrubs, and more! Shrub plants make great additions to any lawn or garden, and usually don't require much upkeep. It's recommended to plant shrubbery and bushes in the fall, as this will allow root growth to be prioritized throughout the cold winter months. Soil should be well-drained, as standing water can cause unwanted effects to the roots of your shrubs. When planting, be sure that you don't dig the hole any deeper than what's needed to cover the root ball -- without firm soil underneath, the ball may sink too deeply into the ground as the shrub grows. Following this, covering the planting area with two to three inches of mulch will ensure that soil retains the temperature needed for optimal growth. With moderate watering, these plants will surely make fine additions to your lawn or garden -- and with so many varieties available, you'll be sure to find one that suits your needs.
